Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born Elizabeth Jane Hurley) is an English model, actress and the former Hugh Grant girlfriend. She gained fame in the mid 1990s. The time that Grant was at the centre of media attention due to his international film's box office success, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in a plunged black Versace dress that was secured with gold safety pins. Her appearance gained immediate fame in the media. Hurley has enjoyed a thriving career but her association to Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most notable. Hurley got the first model contract she was offered at the age 29, and she's been using her to model Estee Lauder's products since 1995. Her most well-known work is her role as Vanessa Kensington, in the hit spy comedy films International Man of Mystery (2007) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley has an eponymous swimwear brand and also models the brand. Perry's first attempts at becoming an established star failed. Two labels signed her and then removed her from the market before she'd made any music. Capitol Records released Perry's Ur So Gay EP in 2007, and received little attention for its jolly flippant song. Perry became a bigger star in the following months with her track I kissed a Girl an assertive ode to sexual curiosity backed by a hard-edged electronic-pop beat. It quickly sparked debate as some critics accused the song for encouraging sexual relations between gays and lesbians while others claimed that the racy scenario it depicted catered to male fantasies of sexuality among females. I Kissed A Girl's mix of excitement, a polished tune and a catchy chorus helped it become a top-ten hit across a range of countries. This led to an album called One of the Boys (2007) being a big success. Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy 2nd single Hot N Cold also proving to be a hit, the album which Perry wrote herself eventually registered greater than 3 million copies across the United States.
