Andrea Anders
Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born in DeForest and is now residing in Los Angeles. She graduated from DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. Then, in 1997, she received an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. The year 2001 was the time she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Anders had a romance with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met on the set of Joey) as her former co-star from the cancelled show. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her older brother. Anders was first working in the theatre beginning in 2001. She was an understudy for Mary Louise Parker for the Broadway production Proof. Also, she appeared as Elaine Robinson later in The Graduate. Alongside On the Jump, New Doors in the Guthrie Theater and New World Rhapsody, she also appeared at the Arena Stage in On the Jump, New Doors, at the Guthrie Theater. Anders began her acting career in May 2007 at the Geffen Playhouse production of Fat Pig. Fat Pig was closed by July 1, 2007. She played Jeannie who was an accountant. Anders was first seen on TV in an advertisement for Dannon the show, which ran from 2006. She then appeared on the show in the 1990s. Anders is most notable for her role on Joey (as attorney Alex Garrett) and The Class as Nicole Allen (nee Campbell), an ex-football player's wife. Both series were cancelled, despite her appearance in each episode. Anders appeared in guest roles on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. She was on the screen five times during an episode of HBO's Oz drama in 2003. She appeared as Heather Degenhart as well as Brandy on The Stepford Wives. Anders appeared in Numb3rs the year 2008 also. Anders is also featured in two television pilots that failed. Spellbound And News To Me were the two unsuccessful television pilots. Most recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera comedy about work written by Victor Fresco for ABC.
